What is southwest monsoon

The Southwest Monsoon, also known as the summer monsoon, is a seasonal wind system that brings heavy rainfall to the Indian subcontinent. It is characterized by the reversal of wind direction, with moist air from the Indian Ocean flowing towards the landmass. The Southwest Monsoon occurs from June to September, originating from the Indian Ocean and Arabian Sea. It is a crucial weather phenomenon for countries like India, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, as it provides the majority of their annual rainfall. The arrival of the Southwest Monsoon is eagerly awaited as it brings relief from the scorching summer heat and supports agriculture, water resources, and overall ecosystem balance in the region.

> stay indoor order things online or go for an important reason only

> sanitize your gadgets keep them clean and door handles mats towels,

>do not share food items and drinks straws and spoon

>if there are elderly people in the home don't let them go out,

> get important medicine in advance or some food items to avoid going daily or weekly.

>clothes bags items which you use for going in the market should be kept outside the home

> wash milk food packets which you bring home as they can be a source too.

>wash veggies and fruit before putting them in refrigerator

>if possible take a bath with disinfectant after coming from the market or outside,

> for at least some period till the issue is not resolved to avoid maids and worker visiting home

>most important follow local guidelines
